Powerboat P1’s corporate sustainability film, which features the work of the P1 Marine Foundation, was a finalist in the Environment category at the Television for the Environment Awards last week.
P1 Marine Foundation’s Projects and Development Manager, Sabrina Taseer, and Trustee, Roy Mantle (pictured) attended the Gala Awards Dinner at the British Academy for Film and Television Arts in London’s Piccadilly. Powerboat P1 Chairman, Asif Rangoonwala was also present.
The Awards, judged by a panel of film and sustainability experts, acknowledges the invaluable work carried out by companies worldwide to enhance sustainability. Companies, globally, used the both film and animation to share best practice on their corporate sustainability initiatives.
TVE (Television for the Environment) was set up in 1984 by the United Nations Environment Programme, WWF and the UK broadcaster Central Television.
